Unless You're Afraid Of Heights
BIGGER IS BETTER

  Vertical Drop
Coffee Mill Ski & Snowboard Resort 425 ft.
Welch Village 360 ft.
Buck Hill They Do Not Post Their VD On Their Website.  *Less Than 360 ft.
Afton Alps They Do Not Post Their VD On Their Website.  *Less Than 360 ft.
Wild Mountain  They Do Not Post Their VD On Their Website.  *Less Than 360 ft.

Interesting that the big three in the Twin Cities do not list their vertical drop.  Resorts out West, out East, in Canada and Europe commonly post their vertical drop.  Vertical drop matters if you want longer, steeper runs.
At Coffee Mill, we make a big deal of having the longest vertical drop in Minnesota, South of Duluth.
Come ski us and you'll see why being bigger is better.
* The figure of less than 360 ft. is believed to be true from independent sources -
because it can not be confirmed by their own websites.
